  • She learned everything she knows about cooking from her father, who owned a restaurant and passed on his culinary wisdom to her in 2009.

    Now, as the proud owner of Doña Alejandra Tacos, Alejandra feels closest to home when she's cooking for others.


    Her tamales have become the talk of the town-people just can't get enough!

  • Alicia Rodriguez, founder of Mexico in Vermont, blends tradition, passion, and artistry to create stunning custom cakes for birthdays, weddings, and quinceñeras, each tailored to make special moments unforgettable.


    Inspired by her northern Chihuahua roots and family, Alicia's love for baking shines in every creation, while her expertise extends to savory dishes like her famous birria tacos and cochinita pibil.

    At Mexico in Vermont, Alicia's mission is to connect people through food, offering a perfect balance of sweet and savory that transforms events into lasting memories with every bite.

  • Magnolia Gonzalez, a proud native of Veracruz, Mexico, brings the vibrant flavors of her heritage to every dish she creates.

    Rooted in tradition and inspired by the rich culinary culture of her hometown, Magnolia specializes in authentic Mexican cuisine, including classics like mole, barbacoa, red and green pozole, cochinita pibil, empanadas, gorditas, chiles rellenos, and a variety of tacos, from al pastor and asada to barbacoa and pollo.

    Her passion for sharing the tastes of Mexico extends to her desserts as well, with beloved favorites like pastel de tres leches, flan, and chocoflan. Through every savory dish and sweet treat, Magnolia’s mission is to bring people together around the table, offering bold, traditional flavors that turn gatherings into memorable celebrations.

  • Matilde Fuentes Camacho, a native of Veracruz, Mexico, proudly shares the vibrant, home-style flavors of her coastal heritage. With recipes rooted in tradition and inspired by the kitchens of her upbringing, Matilde creates dishes that capture the authenticity and warmth of true Mexican cooking.

    Her offerings include golden, crispy tacos dorados, flavorful enchiladas, rich and complex mole, handcrafted empanadas, huaraches, tamales, tacos, and sopes. She also prepares regional favorites like panuchos and pozole rojo, along with fresh seafood specialties such as shrimp cocktail and perfectly fried fish served with red or white rice, honoring Veracruz’s deep culinary ties to the ocean.

    Matilde’s passion lies in preserving tradition while creating meals that feel both comforting and celebratory. Through every plate, she brings the spirit of Veracruz to the table, inviting others to experience the bold flavors and heartfelt hospitality of her culture.

  • Wendy Girón is the chef behind La Chapina, a family-owned small business run by a mother and her two daughters.


    Established in 2022 in Bristol, VT, La Chapina shares the vibrant culinary heritage of Guatemala with the local community.

    Wendy emphasizes the use of locally sourced, organic ingredients to craft authentic Guatemalan dishes, many of which are gluten-free and highlight the cultural significance of corn. Her menu celebrates regional diversity with offerings such as tayuyos and tacos, catering to vegetarian and vegan preferences while showcasing the rich flavors of Guatemala.

  • Catalina Ramirez Martinez and Elizabeth Ramirez Martinez are originally from Veracruz, Mexico, and proudly share the flavors of their homeland through their cooking. Now working side by side, they bring traditional Mexican recipes and family-inspired techniques to every dish they prepare.

    Their favorite specialties include tamales, empanadas, tacos dorados, gorditas, pozole rojo, and rich, flavorful mole. They also prepare tacos al pastor and chicken tacos, served with classic sides like arroz and refried beans to complete the experience. Through their collaboration, Catalina and Elizabeth celebrate their culture and create meals that reflect the warmth and tradition of Veracruz.
